Training period in the areas of Marketing, PR and Fundraising

The around two years existing NGO FAMÍLIA BRASIL refers with a wide spread social and cultural offer to the inhabitants of Santa Efigência, a quarter of Rio de Janeiro, which is marked by various social problems. Among others, psychological maintenance, (school) assistance and alphabetical education, the company to medical appointments and the support for founding a cooperative (e.g. handicraft, recycling of aluminum) is offered. Especially to mention is a dance school founded by the project, in which children older three years, juveniles and adults are getting educated in ballet, jazz and hip-hop, and more times a year get the chance for big presentations on events, in theaters, etc.
Because of being in a very serious financial situation, the NGO is looking for persons, who are qualified in the areas of Marketing, PR and Fundraising and want to bring themselves in the project work with good ideas for working out a special presentational concept for Europe and the United States. Important necessary conditions for the cooperation are flexibility, creativity and skills in intercultural empathy. Apart from that the trainee should have a good knowledge of Portuguese language, which also can be acquired before the training period in an intensive language course in Rio de Janeiro.
The NGO FAMÍLIA BRASIL lies in the Comunidade Santa Efigência, at one of the biggest transporting roads, the Avenida Brasil, not too far away form the international airport. There are good and frequent bus transportations.
