Praktikum in NGO IDDEHA
"Instituto de Defesa dos Direitos Humanos"

The Instituto de Defesa dos Direitos Humanos (IDDEHA) is a NGO located in the state of Paraná – a Brazilian southern state . IDDEHA have been working for ten years in different states in Brazil promoting educational actions involving citizenship and human rights. Established in 1996, IDDEHA started its work by difusing educational actions involving citizenship and human rights though newspapers and other means of communication. Soon, the project became bigger and year by year more people are helped by the IDDEHA in Curitiba and other Brazilian states.
The IDDEHA projects are educative processes which estimulates communitarian actions. The participants are estimulated to develop social actions in the community they live and to divulge the concept of citizenship.
They are looking for trainees who have experiences in public relations, marketing, social assistance or administration.
Important conditions for the collaboration are flexibility, seriousness as well as intercultural communication knowledge. In addition the trainee should have a good knowledge of Portuguese which can be acquired, however, also in an intensive language course on site in Rio de Janeiro. |
