The non-governmental organization REPARTIR treats poor children in hospital. From 2003 on their aim was to take stronger care of the children. In June of the current year the amount of attended children increased when they started to treat children suffering from pneumonia. In colder months fewer children have been hospitalized due to the good work of the association, but medication has been handed out. After the anniversary of the successful treatment of the hundredth child REPARTIR now looks for interns helping at their flea market (the organization’s most important source of income) and also several volunteers and social assistants to look after the children’s families.

The REDE SAÚDE CRIANÇA (approximately translated: network for the health of the child) gathers 14 departments.
At their second workshop REFAZER (Ação em Rede / Vantagens e Desafios) the most important participants were the representatives of Associação Comercial do Rio de Janeiro, Instituto Fernandes Figueira, Fundação Roberto Marinho, CENPEC-SP, SIMAS-Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro, SEBRAE, Rede CDI, CIEE, RITS, IBASE, FASE, Rede Rio Criança, CEDEA-SP, REFAZER and Criança Saúde Renascer, apart from the presence of R´s: Reagir, Ressurgir, Reviver, Recomeçar e Repartir. The office of the NGO is very calm and cozy, with friendly employees and easily accessible by bus.
Interns wanted for the following fields:
Teaching WINDOWS and EXCEL for the employees of the NGO, Marketing, Administration, nursery and English teachers.
An important condition for the cooperation are flexibility, creativity as well as intercultural projecting ability. In addition the trainee should have a basic portuguese knowledge, which can be acquired also in an intensive language course in Rio de Janeiro.
Period
Between three or six months. Trainee without minimum Portuguese knowledge should stay at least four months in Brazil ( 1 month language course, 3 months Internship).
