Ação Social e Cidadania

The NGO SOLARES, existing for about three years, attends juvenils and adults in financially precarious situations with several projects realized in the areas of social education, training measures and public welfare work. Purpose is to stimulate actively to the self-help and to indicate various educational options which might facilitate the access or reintegration to the job market. The NGO has entered into numerous public and private partnerships and has not least become known in Rio de Janeiro for opening a big communal kitchen, which carries the name of Ana Maria Braga, a brazilwide known television moderator.
Training Period – Marketing and Advertisement
We are looking for trainees who possess experiences in the areas of marketing and advertising and who are able to support the institution by developing publicity brochures and informational material in as well English and Portuguese language
Training Period – Website Configuration
We are looking for creative computer experts and web designers who are able to develop a homepage. A computer workplace with Internet access is given by the NGO.
Training Period – Nutritionists in demand
We are looking for nutritionists who would like to work in the communal kitchen, provide food- and health tables, perform orientation or consultation in questions of the hygiene, and offer educational- and teaching measures for the concerned juvenils and adults.
Important conditions for the collaboration are flexibility, empathy as well as intercultural communication knowledge. In addition the trainee should have good knowledge of Portuguese which can be acquired, however, also in an intensive language course directly in Rio de Janeiro. |
