Opened in the december of 2001, the Hotel Village Icaraí is regarded as one of the newest and most modern hotels of Niterói, a city with about 470.000 inhabitants, connected with Rio de Janeiro through a 13 kilometre long bridge, crossing the bay of Guanabara. Sited nearby the beach of Icaraí, the hotel disposes about 24 suites, a massage pool, an American bar and a Fitnesscenter. The hotel is runned well throughout the year.
We are looking for persons who bring along experiences in the area of tourism as well as in the field of marketing, or are being trained in these fields of work. The trainee will get to know each department of the hotel, working primarily in the departments of marketing and advertising. Up to now there is a big demand of US-american tourists to be recognized, but it is the aim of the management to work out a presentation for the German travelmarket, which should be offered to well-known travel agencies.
Important conditions for the collaboration are flexibility, seriousness as well as intercultural communication knowledge. In addition the trainee should have a good knowledge of Portuguese which can be acquired, however, also in an intensive language course on site in Rio de Janeiro. |
